| We moved to the Sofa for the last three nights of our stay in Istanbul having stayed at the Hilton on a Tour Group. The Sofa was outstanding. Very modern and new design and a fantastic location. It is only a ten min walk to the closest Metro station. Compared to the Hilton, the Sofa is miles ahead. The Hilton is in need of a refurb. One thing we loved about the Sofa was the Spa. It is very relaxing and really great.
The only problem with our room was that it was at the front of the Hotel which does have the neon signs flashin into it and some street noise. You would be best to request a room at the back of the hotel for better peace and quite. |

| 1. If somebody wants to leave a message by phone, it is imposible. They do not recognise the name of the guest and the answer is that there is no guest under that name.
2. Even the room charge was prepaid, it took the reception over 20 minutes to check and they wanted to charge again.
3. there is no windows in the room. You feel like in prison except the virtual window!!! |

| The Sofa is a very modern clean hotel, with friendly staff. Fantastic rooms, very clean and comfortable. Only problem is it is situated across a shopping mall so rather noisey with cars at night and flashing light from the bill board, besides that no complaints. Highly regarded. The roof top is ultra modern with a great view over Istanbul, have breakfast there is a must. The Long Bar is fab for drinking in, ultra cool . The area is fantastic, small botiques and great places to eat and have coffee. I will definitely return to the Hotel Sofa. |

| Staff very helpfull, hotel location in very nice quarters, hotel being newly built is very clean. Bathroom is spacious unlike most hotels in that country. |

| Very comfortably designed rooms, beautiful neighborhood. 'Tranquility rooms' face the Zen garden at the building's core, which can be very nice on higher floors but quite dark and claustrophobic on the lower ones. Unfortunately, creating a hip atmosphere seems to take precedence over providing quality service for guests. My reservation request for a queen-sized bed was not honored(two twin beds pushed together isn't the best arrangement, no matter how much they insist it's the equivalent). When deafening construction noise began in the building next door, the staff just shrugged their shoulders rather than proactively trying to attend to the needs of their guests, although they did change my room after I insisted. (Construction seemed to be taking place between 7-7, even on Sunday. If planning a trip soon, it would be wise to inquire about the situation.) |
